Psilocybe cyanescens potency

hey folks hows our evening going? long time no see!

i was just wondering how potent you think cyanescens are? i have only ever tried golden caps, so i wont know in comparison to any other mushrooms. was thinking about trying them next weekend and just thought id get a bit of an idea of what im in for.

Cyans are pretty potent. 3g lemon tek will give you a level 5. Check the shroomery calculator (Google it) and you can check for approximate dosage there.

But 3g lemon tek for a level 4/5 and maybe 1.7g for what I like to call a social dose.

For me 2g cyans = 3.5 g cubes. Dry weight. Hope this helps

Im pretty sure cyans are the most potent species. Baeos might be more or a close second.

Ps. cyans are a little less than twice as potent as regular cubes, and a little more potent than PE, but not by much. :thumbup:

Took 1 gram of dried cyans last weekend, very similar to 2 grams of dried cubes. Hope that helps

oh they are that potent forreal? glad i asked i thought it was the other way around, i was going to take more than necissary ! xD very informative, i knew there must be a calculator somewhere for this sort of thing just didnt know where to look.

Haven't tried cyans too much but on the occasions I have 2 grams definitely rocks me.

As far as potency goes I think:

1. Azurescens, Cyanescens, Subaeruginosa, Weraroa;
2. Baeocystis, Alenii, Semilanceata;
3. Ps. Galindoi, Ps. Tampanensis, Ps. Mexicana A/B
4. Cubes.

P.S. Set&Setting is the most important of all.

That's probably the same scale I would go with too. Azurescens will kick your ass up and down the street.

nice nice. yea set/setting is of course important. i tend to do acid a lot wen i trip. its been like 3 or 4 yrs for mushies i wonder how it will differ from my regular visions and experience im used to im stoked.
