Ever get a lungful of plastic smoke?

My friends and I made a pipe out of plastic kazoo once, and it worked quite well since it was wrapped in tin-foil. Well eventually, that tin-foil started to slip, and I ended up with a very rough hit. The lighter melted a bit of the plastic, and needless to say, it wasn't pleasent.
I wonder what the negative effects of inhaling smoking plastic are. Anyone else accidentally smoke something like that?

well,
there's PCBs in lots of plastic.
one burnt plastic hit might not do too much to you, but making a habit of it would probably be pretty dumb.
*looks at his plastic cup n' tin foil water bong*
PCB - Poly-Chlorinated Bi-Phenyl = not good for you.

I remember as a kid I always confused PCP and PCBs. Don't worry, we've retired the kazoo.

not good for anything!!!
its for reasons like these ALL PLASTIC should be made from hemp!
anyway think of PCB's as some glass, you eat ut , shit it out and then a friend eats it and it doesnt change at all PCB's are like that for the enviroment, just REALLY toxic

Back in the day, me and some of the boys used to do hot-knives with the aid of a plastic bottle. Too often the knives would touch the bottle and we'd end up with lungfuls of coke bottle. 'Twasn't nice.

I had a grav and I totally f*d putting it into a soda bottle cap, so a little piece of plastic was cleverly hidden then burned black. Got a few disgustingly harsh salvia hits and almost passed out before I realized my potentially dangerous error.
...but I've never been so high! haha, kidding

The graphic is actually from the sequel to Maniac Mansion, Day Of The Tentacle. Two very excellent games.
I think I'm mainly going to stick to metal and glass from now on, as well as arcrylic bongs (since you only light the bowl). Metal gets too hot, and glass can break. There should be a website that reviews smoking devices.
