 How to not get perma-freid?

I want to be able to use psychadelics to achieve a higher understanding but I don't want to end up like Ozzy or Hunter S. Thompson. How does one avoid getting permafreid?

Here is a secret no one else will tell you. At most witch doctor shops, or magical stores, you know the types. They sell something called "bane of hog anus." Ingest twice weekly before the trip, then insert analy during the trip. Hunter S Thompson didn't believe this, now look at him, need any more proof?

if you think you shouldnt do it, then don't. don't lie to yourself. treat yourself and others kindly. if you are unhappy, admit it to yourself. you'd be surprised how many people don't do this, and have a bad trip, because they have to see it on the trip. then they are confronted with a choice, whether or not to admit it. if they admit it to themselves, then the trip is very helpful, but if they don't, they end up having this horrible repressed seed inside of them that makes them feel like shit, gives them flashbacks, and whatnot. that's my opinion on the issue. underlying issues that arent confronted. be objective with yourself.

Dont trip more then 1 time a month. Preferably less then that.

but thats not saying if you dose every weekend you will go crazy. About 1.5 years ago i would dose shrooms every weekend and it took a toll on my head after a while.

Well i don't know about Hunter s thompson but i know Ozzy probably is messed up more because of alchohal than anything else. But yeah too much of anything can be bad. Peace.

Lets get get perma-freid? Why not as long as you can still do what you do and are able to still have friends ect. Its not as if your gona yield an axe and take swings at people mumbaling something about must chop down trees for magical pixie dust.

I had a good friend get "perma-fried" after binging on DXM for several months. I honestly believe he was fried before taking the DXM and that the drug simply nailed the coffin shut, so to speak. He has gotten better, but went from a phd in physics, living in Denver and working with renewable energy to walking the streets of Isreal preaching about the coming of the messiah.
There is no magic pill that will keep this from happening. Fate is fickle. Take the drug, roll the dice, and hope you aren't one of the few that craps out. Or don't take the drug, roll the dice, and hope you aren't one of the few that craps out.

Perma-Fry is a myth. There is no way to take LSD and not come down. The body metabolizes the drug completely.

does anyone know of a person that has fried off of mushrooms? I know no one... this is why I refuse to take man made drugs. I don't think I will ever try LSD cause of all the stories. I've never heard of a person going crazy with mushrooms. My brain is too important to me.

Yeah, psilocybin can induce a mental break in suceptible people, know your self, know your substance, and know your source and your going to be safe. Its hardly a calculated risk to take tab or so of LSD every while, if your already a psychedelic eater.

Also, I know of many people, artists really, that took acid and mushrooms in my town........and the big scary story is that......,
the wrote a bunch of music, painted , made more poems etc etc
alot of them were my friends
ONE GUY!!!, was said to have mental problems years later , mind you this came up during an arguement about peyote, I said to my friend Jay something about grafting peyote, and this bitch just layed into me
"you actually do that stuff, do you know what you are doing to your boy etc etc"
So, this started a bigger and even dumber conversation about psychedleic drugs, with me being drowned out by lies.
they said "dont tell us that psychedelics cant fuck you up, what about (that guy)"
Anyway, the point is that they brought up this guy that did way to much SPEED , not acid or mushrooms, and his behaviour was Because of his addiction
they said "dont tell us that psychedelics cant fuck you up, look at (theguy)"
Well me and my friend Drew set those uniformed bitches striaght on at least that point.

You do know that the most important precursor to LSD synthesis is a fungus (ergot)?
The whole "natural is good, man made is bad" thing is just a stupid marketing ploy made by so called health stores. You'll find infintely many chemicals that's "naturally" made that will have extremely adverse effects on your body.
And it's not like we're not a part of nature. We don't magically conjure up chemicals from nowhere. Any chemical synthesised in a lab is just a "natural" as anything that is created in a mushroom.
