ID Help Please - Is this Inocybe aeruginascens?
    #20792155 - 11/04/14 12:18 PM (9 years, 3 months ago)

Hello, I thought I would make an account to ask this question and hopefully get some clarification. I came upon about 10 of these the size of my hand. I googled around and it looks very similar to Inocybe aeruginascens but im no professional so need an expert : )

Not Inocybe, maybe Paxillus.

Paxillus has a funneled like cap, these ones are flat. I forgot to take a side profile but they are flat with a very slight dip in the middle.

Definitely not Inocybe in any case.

I. aeruginascens is a late spring/early summer fruiting species, mainly
occurring in central Europe if I'm not completely mistaken. As far as I
know there are not many finds posted on here.
