Idk, that mycelium growth seems rather gray and light. Make sure that jar looks almost solid white before birthing, otherwise there is a greater risk of contams, and probably taking a lot longer to pin since it'll need to finish colonizing. Might as well finish colonization in a safe spot like the jar itself.

How many days has it been? that jar looks like it may have cobweb, but it's hard to tell from the picture.

my god that looks a wee bit wet from what I can see. also the uniformity leaves something to be desired. I can see large areas of rice flour, probably your vermiculite was coarse. next time try finer.

The jar does look a bit wet and heavy on rice.. The objective is to coat the vermiculite pretty good with the BRF - in the pic it looks as if there's both ingredients present, but just not mixed well - maybe too much BRF and water. (unless the light coloring in the jar is some type of growth)

For Someone, coarser vermiculite is better. They even shake the bag when it gets low to get all the bigger chunks for use in BRF jars. Seems like the finer stuff takes longer to colonize and packs down too tight. You want gaps in the mix while its in the jar - to aid colonization. Someone usually strays from the mixture recipies if it feels off, adding a pinch or two more of VERM if its feeling wet - play with it. The mix should be airy and damp, when you squeeze some of it a little water should just surround the outside of what's under pressure.

Soon, you'll know whats up with the jars.
Hope this helps, good luck.

yeah man, you gotta wait longer, mine dont normally show growth for about 4-5 days, one set of jars even took 9 days to show, just be patient and follow the teks to the letter, you will get shrooms.

Maybe too good to be true? If you innoculated with spores and you have that kind of growth, it my not be the kind of growth you want. When i first looked at it i thought cobweb too. Just give it time and before you birth it, smell it. If it gives off a foul odor, its f'ed.

at first i thought it was myc,now it looks like brf putty caused by to much water and adding the brf before the water combined with inadequate mixing.
try mixing your water and verm first to just above field capacity then add the brf a little at a time being sure that all the verm particles are coated evenly with brf.
if you add the brf before the water it tends to clump up and hinders colonization time.
