I didn't even use a syringe. Just poured a bit in, like a G2G, put the lid back on and rolled it around to coat all the cake. Once it recovered it took about 4 days to colonize.

This was my favorite novelty grow. Its about a table spoon of RGS and less than 1/2 a cup of coir. Inoculated with 1cc from a B+ spore syringe.

It was also my fastest grow. I don't remember the exact time frame but it was about 3 weeks from spores to fruits.

I for one would love to see more stuff like this..maybe theres a Tek in the making? sowing some grass seed in the casing layer of a mono would be soo cool to see. or a SGFC with grass growing from the perlite would be sick too.you could set it up, get it growin good and then introduce the cakes.. any takers?

Could see the seed in the casing layer of a mono working really well. Would likely encourage improved fae. But that's just speculation.

It would be riding a fine line between success and contam, and most likely would only produce negligible amounts of O2 (I bet its great for RH) but its damn cool nonetheless
