General Supplies in Setup
The above are the supplies I currently have (+ large bin not in Pic) This Includes:
Small bin: 17.5'x 11' x 11' = 2,115.5 in squared or 36 quarts or 9 gallon vollume
1 pound Vermiculate 4 pounds Perlite 12x 8oz (1/2 pint) Mason Jars Sterile gloves Face masks Temp and Humidity Monitor
---
Beyond what I have I am looking for recommendations and tips to get me started.
Updates will come soon!
---
Update: 11/08/2014
As of 11/08/2014 9 1/2 pints have been impregnated. Marking the calendar for a month before I am even will to remove them from their currently dry SGFC.
Will check for contams occasionally though.
Details below:
 Hiding Spot

---
Update: 11/22/2014 (almost perfect date..)
Here are pics after 2 weeks from date of innoc. Captions are below pics.
1st set is profile of all four innoc sides of all 9 jars stacked.
Here is a close up of one of the bigger clusters in a single jar.
Here is a close up of one of the smaller clusters in a single jar.
----
Update: 12.08.14
Current states - Most jars 30% - 45% colonized
Temperature mean - 72.4 degrees F
Smell - Smells like nature (not bad, more like grass in the sun)
Moisture - Jars collecting moisture at bottom, enough to make little pools.
Lighting - Usually under a towel in SGFC - Have let them rest in room lighting for a day or two now.
Photos are of all 4 sides of all jars stacked. And for obvious reasons I could not photograph the bottom of the jars, but damn near all the bottoms are fully fluffy white.

Updated: 12.09.2014
Tagyo suggested that I up the temperature from 72.0 to 77 - 80.0. Well, I followed his advice last night and turned the central air on to 76.00 which makes the container my jars are stored in 76.5. ANYWAYS..., like magic his advice provided immediate results. Not only did I instantly see a 5 % - 10 % hike in growth, but it seems to be every jar! I am wildly astounded...
---
Updated: 12.11.2014
Signs of greenish / yellowish contam spots on bottom of two jars, and brownish like artifacts sticking to sides of these jars in small specks. These jars contained a lot of bottom moisture, enough to puddle. I am preparing to incinerate and trash so that when garbage man comes he doesn't get attacked by garbage full of possibly dangerous spores.
7 jars out 9 still in the game, or so it seems!
Also, just ordered a bunch of supplies and am going to be setting up Rye berry quart jars for mini monotub. Jars will have SFD under lids, and will be using PC as well as 27 qt mini mono for spawning to bulk in either coir or something else. Haven't decided. Any recommends for this secondary project will be nice.
Thread for second project - 2nd Project - Rye Berry & Cube: Part 1, Setup.
---
My project has been deemed a failure. Pins rapidly started showing up in jars when colonization was only 50 - 60 percent. Well, good thing I've another batch colonizing in the mean time which I took more special care of. Thread closed. Thread dead.

Ok, I got everything. Do you think the smaller container will be a pleasant environment for my new house guests?
Also, any recommends for cheap/decent pressure cooker?

Anyone can recommend decent pressure cooker for the money? Or at least explain if it's really worth it or not?
I also would like to know about glove boxes. Are they worth it? Is there a cheap vendor for them ? I've searched and they are expensive, but maybe I missed the golden deal somewhere... If not is there a good guides for constructing one solidly?
Lastly, ambient temperature of my apartment is aorund 74.0 f, whereas the ambient temperature inside what I am going to make their SGGB - Shot gun grow box - is 72.00. Anyone can recommend a decent lighting solution that might only raise it 6-8 deg?

That's the one I was looking at.. I already blew 200.00 on supplies, spores, and work space tools. It's not that I spent frivously - I plan on making this a lifelong practice.. and thus I've invested in the study of my own spores.
I also would like to know about glove boxes. Are they worth it? Is there a cheap vendor for them ? I've searched and they are expensive, but maybe I missed the golden deal somewhere... If not is there a good guides for constructing one solidly?

yes they are worth it. cheapest "vendors" are walmart, target, thrift store, etc. large storage totes, big as u can get them. 66qt is too small IMO. large coffee can + fire = arm holes

i use a room with a lot of windows for ambient sunlight. in the winter, 6500k "daylight" bulb in ceiling or near ur set up to make up for daylight savings time darkness

You want a PC to do anything other than pf tek. Used I got mine 20$ fits 4 quarts pretty small but its all I need.
You want a still air box sab not a glove box there's an abundance of sab teks out there including In my links in my signature.
68-72f is perfect don't try to raise the temps. If you need to raise thre temps if your grow room is 60F or below heat the whole room not just your tubs

So for PF tech boiling is efficient? And the SAB - Easy to build, I will do so with the larger container I already have. "Living" will take place in small. Good thing my temp is right! Thanks for all your recommends.

We don't boil cakes, we steam sterilize them.
Yes, a 90 min steam sterilization of 1/2 pint cakes is all that is needed.

All American, they can reach some crazy psi, they are on the more expensive side but look on eBay and see if there is anyone local selling one, i found mine for a little over 100 but a hefty shipping charge so closer is better. I believe a PC is very important because you want to make sure everything gets sterile and most PC's (Electric) don't even tell you want psi they get to.

I would never purchase digital. However, the digital are cheaper than AA or products like AA PC. It's amazing... and upsetting, lol.

Not trying to be the cheapass that no one wants to help, but with what I've already spent (200.00) I don't want to spend much more. If and when I am successful with my first study I will then get better study equipment.
Since I've started putting together this microscopy project I've found several benefits including gleeful enthusiasm, and that my area of study is perfect for studying in. So, I have high hopes that I will at least be moderately, if not figuratively (in that I'll learn something) successful.
