Im in the same boat as you.
-------------------- making you want to be a better person since 2008. TrippinTeddy said: sometimes when I'm raping a bitch, I like to tickle her ribs and under neath her arms, and I say "loosen up bitch, lets have fun now because if I have to kill your squirming ass, only one of us will be having fun, and you can't have a party all by yourself can you?" Then its usually all laughs and good times from there.

Life Bro. Maybe mild bi-polar disorder. Also look at the times of the year you get depressed. Seasonal Affective Disorder happens alot in the fall-winter months. Prozac rules! Gl feel your pain.

Playing bass and making music is one of the few things that keeps me sane, it really takes your mind of the depressing feeling, but it tends to show in music, like in emo

Well it looks like i'm a little too late to comment on this topic.. but i'll give my two cents anyways. It's the season change. I'm almost positive. Everyone gets a little down when we hit the end of the year. I dont know about where you live, but i know here, when the grey clouds move in, they don't only stay in the sky. Everyone seems to get moody or sad around this season. It's natural. The leaves are dying, the flowers, etc.. and with it goes our summer 'happy go lucky feel good' moods. It's not permanent of course. Give it a little while, things will be less grey again once we get settled into the months to come. Also, the same daily routine may have an affect on you to bring you down. Monotony.. Find a hobby. As you had mentioned, make some music. Do something spontaneous. Change your routine a bit to give you more adventure. Something different for a little while. As for the prozac comment.. You dont need to go that route. It may bring up your spirits a little, if even that, but in the long run, in my personal opinion, it harms more then it helps.. If you are just feeling down, DONT depend on synthetic happiness to make your life better or happier.. Do it on your own. Find something that makes you happy and do it. Easy.

yes, drugs like prozac treat the symptom, not the problem....you may feel better for a bit, but your problem is still lurking behind the scenes building momentum....and it is usually three times as bad once it breaks through a gain....god i hate script happy docs/psycologists all making the extra buck on all those kickbacks....

Yo Kussh, People are great at beating themselves up when no one else will. You are ordered to play music, or do something creative every time you feel blue. Creative people beat themselves up more than most people. The only cure is to stop beating yourself up. :P If you don't beat yourself up, who will?

Psychiatrists are the ones that are pill happy. Not psychologists (what i'm going thru school to become). A psychologist is basically someone to talk to.. a councellor. I don't believe in alot of the medication out there. As you said, it just hides the real feelings you have inside and not only does it all come back to you later in full force, but if you stop taking the medication, it can be really hard on you since you have developed a dependancy on it. That, coupled with all those feelings you have been covering up for who knows how long can cause irrational decisions.

That's not true. Just because you believe, doesn't mean someone else will be happy believing.. I think someone needs to do some moderating in this thread..
