How do you consume a fruit smoothie in those ziploc things? Pop a straw through your GE hole?

LOL, she has a different, unique style of doing things, she has changed it, but there is useful info in there also, it was originally found under the title V-tek.

Sorry, this is Pasty's thread back OT.

As Iam said, I'm using screw-top pint ziploc containers, not these one-trick-pony mini round things.
You can drink out of them just as you would any cup.

5 shrooms to anyone who uploads a solid video of the full inoculation process using these bad boys. I found it pretty difficult to get a single spore drop in the little divot I created. I'm more of a visual learner.

This sounds like a great idea, because I have no idea why, but I have NEVER got the one drop to do SHIT!

Guitar string loop. I didn't even have to break my guitar to get it off. It is also possible to just buy a guitar string. Twist ties work well too.

This.  Since when does getting 5 inches of guitar string require breaking an instrument?  I have tons of leftover bits of guitar strings when I trim them after changing strings.

I did my first transfers today... I made my own scalpel which resulted in laughter and it was a total joke. Then I decided to use these hooks I use to detach exhaust pipe springs which worked okay.

I thought I was supposed to cut chunks of agar out and transfer them -- sigh... So one of my new agar plates has like an obliterated chunk of agar scattered across the top. One has an upside down triangle so the myc side of the triangle is on the surface of the new plate. The other two transfers were just surface mycelium with no agar chunks (proper).

After all of this, I really can see how an actual loop would be so nice to have.

I was joking. I don't have a guitar. I know this is usually aimed at stopping something from growing, but is a metal coat hanger too big? Am I digging the loop into the agar or just pressing down into it?
