Coprinus comatus, if correctly identified, is a choice edible as long it?s young and not deliquescing.

I can't post picks, and was honestly looking for actives, though the practice of finding them and just being in the outdoors with a field guide book was enjoyable. I ate two of them, to test the flavor.. They were quite good(some people would say the second best tasting mushroom) and I guess they're abundant around here. Good to know if I ever go hungry. =P.. Otherwise, I'll keep searching.
