You mean like....scientific studies... right?
Tons of studies
Actually western science has *JUST* started getting into it and actually researching it. For the longest time they claimed it was a load of crap and there was no proof that they even existed. (This without ever trying to find proof) Whereas eastern medical science has been utilizing it and benefiting from it for thousands of years without question. Go figure...
It is now *almost* considered valid to talk about chakras in western medicine, since they have been measured.
There really is a plethora of information and tons of studies. I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed filtering through all of it...
I am positive I have only nicked the tip of the iceberg
Obviously this is something that has enough scientific validity to be considered worthy for futher research
Yes, of course there have been studies. Of course, only measurable aspects can be measured. The mind-body correlates, not the metaphysical assumptions about the origin of Being. One of the first studies that is in book form is called 'Yoga: A Scientific Evaluation' by Kovoor T. Behanan, which was published in 1937 and is published by Dover.
