varieties are stabilised by selecting fruits with the desired traits to take spores from over a few generations. After 6 generations the variety is fairly stable and certain traits will be prevalent while others will be lost. That's not to say there won't still be tons of room for variation within that variety. Even If a type of cubes is 99% percent stable. The remaining 1% still leaves a lot of room for variations. I mean we as humans share like 99% of our genetic code with chimps.

So yah. A cube is a cube in the sense that they all require the same growing environment and they are all the same species with the potential to produce a lot of the same traits. however the differences from variety to variety are more than vender hype. the fact that certain traits can be bread in is quite noticeable in varieties like PE, AA+, KSSS, Columbian rust and many other more obviously different looking varieties. While many more garden variety cubes were bread to  have the same traits. I have been abled to notice at least slight differences between all the different cubes I have grown.

Well, if I didn't make it clear enough already: I'm not going to prove a negative. Over a thousand grows and you didn't document your findings on a topic that you tout as an absolute truth? If the imperical evidence was right in front of you, why didn't you take advantage of that and document that for skeptics such as myself.  No one would question it if you would just prove it.

I really don't give a fuck if you or anyone else questions it. I don't document very much, as what we are doing is illegal and in the event of a bust, less is better.

So i had a friend come over who i have not seen for a while. He said that he has been growing Great White Monster. I tried to tell him that it was just an Albino A+ but he wasnt hearing that. So is it or isnt it just a renamed AA+?

Googled it. There was only one picture I saw that looked like real leucistic shroms. All the other pictures of 'great white monster' look like mexi-albinos which is really just a pale yellow cube. Not a leucistic 'albino' variety.

Not sure if this is where to post this, but is there anything special about Ban Hua Thanon that a newb should know?

It is the right place to post this.

I've seen pictures of massive fruits whenever this variety is mentioned. It behaves like a cube. Treat it like a cube.  Nothing special.

I've talked to and seen posts talking about growing 'EQ's'

Is EQ supposed to be short for Ecuador?

There isn't even a 'Q' in Ecuador.

If it was EC it would be confused with Ecclesiastes.

Seriously though, it is like saying, "It is spelled with an "M" not a "E" dummy!"

"M" is not a vowel so you should not say "An" before it, and "E" is a vowel so you should not say "A" before it, but it is how they are pronounced that causes the change in language. Ecuador is pronounced with a "Qu" sound.

Are you saying that the great white monster is a renamed Mexi-Albino

It is unknown at this point, but the lack of info makes it seem like it is a renamed cube, or just a marketing gimmick.

I would say they renamed mexi albino 'great white' but at this point it's anyone's guess.
