Thanks for the quick response. I have search for the answer I couldn't find info directly related to brf cakes mycelia.
my process is simple very effective 1sterlize water in glass jar 2let cool 3 I take dunked cakes and make my casing 4i save a small amount of strong mycelia and place inside Sterile water 5shake vigorously 6sterile needle goes in sterile water and suck up mycelia 7 I use about 4cc per jar I innculate. I must add I have 10-15 jars brf sterile ready to be inoculated colonized in about 14days from inoculation

what you're describing is a grain liquid culture as mentioned in the link I posted
make sure you make the transfer to the sterile water jar in a sab (you may know but thought worth mentioning since your post count...)

Brf cakes!?!? Why!!!! It's cool tho OP do what u want but if u want to save yourself a bunch of time and frustration, start growing the right way and switch to grains they will give you so much more versatility and in the end so much more yield. Food for thought. And grains are fucking easy btw

Alright the real deal on brf cakes is this. Its the only way I have done it. I really want gp branch off, into wbs or g2g. I just haven't ahopped the supplies and I don't feel as comfy and warm as I do with my familier little brf cakes! I've begun experimenting with new substrates and maybe even devolping a super cheap jar alternative. So I need a good mentor tho on the grains thing

There are some really good teks on here for grains if you search for em. Or there are usually ballin links in the TC's sigs.
No one is forcing you to move on to grains, it's just the next logical step. If you have the materials for more BRF cakes and don't wanna spend more money, then more power to you. If you're just nervous about moving on but want to, then do it! Who cares if you fail a couple times and learn in the process. But if you have a PC and follow teks correctly, then you shouldn't have too much trouble making the next step.

Because brf cakes are fun? They work? They're cheap? They teach noobs a lot about the mushroom life cycle? Not everyone is going for pounds at a time...sure grains are pretty simple but don't be all oooohhhh BRF CAKES WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING?!?!
