i just wanted to take a sec to tell the world that this is my first time growing shrooms, and my shit is going great! i started with 11 pf jars of treasure coast, no contams. lots of rhizomorphic growth, 2 jars already cased, going to do 2 more tommorow. my casings are kickin ass, and are ready to pin soon. my terrarium is simple and effective, perlite is great. i dont mean to brag, but i think i have a knac for this stuff. thanks for the help all! :thumbup:

congratz!!
a lesson can still be learned,i thought exactly the smae thing ie i'm a natural after 1st success with the pftek,then as i was plodding along i got a little lazier with sterility and wham......contamns!
just a friendly bit of advice!

and so say all of us. best hobby i ever found, completely addictive in every way. there's scientific learning, manual tinkering and fiddling, the joy of watching something grow from your efforts, plus the pleasure of the harvest.....

now try grains/agar/bulk/cloning/printing/edibles/liquid myc/etc etc..

That happened to me too. I grew all my HUA jars and casings, no contams, half oz dried. I rounded another batch up being lazier, and all 6 jars got contamed! FUCK.

Very true, mushrooms may not be addictive but growing them certainly is!
