Cool. So, you have gone to Korea as well?
Where did you go to? Who did you travel there with?

What do u mean you went to high school in korean and roomed with koreans?
I went to boarding school and there I had two different Korean rommates. In boarding school there were many international students. Of those international students, Koreans made up a large part.
---------
Do you want to try to write some Korean back and forth?

AND Yes I have been to korea as well. I Was in Seoul as well as Busan. BUSAN is considered the country side. The people and food in busan is spectacular.

The boarding school was in America.
I know Busan - South East - near the beach. One of my old roommates is from there. When I visited I stayed in the city of Anyang, which is just South of Seoul. I also visited many other cities.
How did you find your way to Korea anyway? Who did you go with?

열씨미 means with a lot of effort. Not sure if I I spelt it correctly.
And below that means "I hate studying so much that I wanna die " lol
Koreans use a very good amount of similies and methaphors to describe the way they feel . And the most coming thing people like to say is 아줏갯다. Meaning I feel like I'm gonna die.

Hello friends.
Do you guys want to make a list of vocabulary words together? How about 21 words? We can all choose 7.
That way we will know some common terminology to talk to each other with.
I am also going to post more information about sentence structures. This should help us bring together our conversations.
P.S. Thanks for taking so much interest in the thread. You guys are the thread!
Alright... Here are my 7 words. Please post your 7 words and I will post all the 21 words as one list. Please post the English version and the Korean version!
1.) 나 or 저 -- I. pronoun
2.) 먹다 -- to eat. verb.
3.) 점심 -- lunch. noun.
4.) 아침식사 -- breakfast. noun.
5.) 쓰다 -- to write. verb.
6.) 버섯 -- mushroom. noun.
7.) 마리워나 -- marijuana. noun.
I will start memorizing the vocabulary that you post. I will also try to use it to communicate with you. Even if our sentences are not correct, I think we should still attempt to understand each other. In time we will get better!

Remember the basic Korean sentence is ordered as: subject, object, verb.
For example: I lunch ate = 나는 점심을 먹었다.

Here is the list we can start studying. Feel free to say anything you want in Korean. I will try to interpret it and write back to you.
Quote:

3.) 점심 -- lunch. noun.
4.) 아침식사 -- breakfast. noun.

10.) 맥주= beer
11.) 학교= school
12.) 똥= shit/poop
13.) 배고파= hungry
14.) 잠을 자다 or 자다= to sleep
-----------------------------------
맥주과 마리워나 좋아해요! (과 = "and" in this sentence)
AND -
I was looking up the Korean word 'and'. The word is listed as 과. But it is important to know that it can be used in two different forms. You use 와 or 과 based on whether the preceding noun ends with a consonant or a vowel. If the preceding noun ends with a consonant then you will use the form of 과. If the preceding noun ends in a vowel, then you will use the form of 와.
example 1. 나는 음식과 케이크를 좋아한다 = I like food and tacos.
example 2. 나는 타코와 케이크를 좋아한다 = I like tacos and cake.
Your sentence: 맥주과 마리워나 좋아해요! (과 = "and" in this sentence)
Your sentence with corrections: 나는 맥주와 마리화나를 좋아한다 = I like beer and marijuana.
과 must be changed to 와 due to the grammatical rule explained above.
I will write you back soon and we can try out our new words and practice the word 'and'.
