Finally got a camera...

...after a month of waiting on the techo/fix-it folks to contact me on where it was at on the cam I had.

They wanted just over $500 AUD on it for a new lens set-up, bah to the bin. Got a newie. I wish I knew where it was at a month ago. All well, such is life.

Now to work out how to use this one. Any Nikon 5700 experienced folks? It's not SLR like (well to me).

nikon 5700 is a good camera...the menu system on it is a bit..well complicated :tongue:

good choice have fun with your camera...i was going to get that one but it was 200 dollars more than the one i have now the sony cd500, which almost have identical specs :smile:

that right there, is an uber camera. 5.0 mp...good lord.

its my first one and i purchased it off ebay for only $170 with shipping. The camera even had a working warranty because i had to send it back for a new one after it stopped turning on :wink:

its a nice camera though. I really enjoy it.
