Possible gymnopilus luteofolius and luteoviridis
    #20639432 - 09/30/14 10:10 AM (9 years, 4 months ago)

Hey everyone so I went hunting (more like picked right
by the farm's fence). But it worked and I got
some shrooms which I think are gymnopilus luteoviridis
and luteofolius. Please help me I.D them and increase
my knowledge so I can help someone in the future as well.
All Hail Shroomery!

[Starting from the right going left] The first and second picture I think are luteoviridis but
I'm not sure because they have a sponge like texture on the
underside and are more golden/orange than yellow. In the third and fourth picture I think are  luteofolius
the gills are yellow if you can't see in the picture. and the last
two pictures the shroom kind of looks like  luteofolius but it doesn't have yellow gills and they look more open.
I found all of these in the shade mostly under some bushes near trees.

Hmm, those last two photos, orange mushrooms, are boletes.
I am also unsure about the rest of them being gyms...

No gyms. The gilled one looks like it may be Phylloporus rhodoxanthus. The other is some other kind of bolete.

Aww man, well thanks for telling me. Atleast know I
know which ones to not pick but what about the
first two pictures with the one mushroom. That one isn't like the rest

Join the club. I'm still looking man. I found at least a hundred non-active gyms. Search for your state in the link below.

Shout out to Joust for that.
