Friendly bacteria verses evil Bacteria.

So as you all know when practacisng anything to do with mycology you kind of hand in hand study Bacteria and molds also.

This post is almost a addative to a post I entered earlier. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20493757

Usually when people notice any bacteria in a grain jar the advice is toss it.  I have 3 bulks at the mo that I thought I would continue on even though there was definately a yeasty bacteria smell.

ATM the mycelium is acting normally but the smell is still there. 1 is fruiting and has begun a poor pin set,  I am just about to fruit another and the 3rd has just been mixed and will be fruited later.(there are 4 samples but the first had no signs of bacteria.

So one of my questions is what is the difference between beneficial bacteria and nasty bacteria.  Can you name a few so I can study up on them as at the mo its a tidal wave of info I just can not process.

Is it possible for bacteria inside  grain spawn jar to actaully be beneficial?

bacteria is a real problem if it doesn't allow your grain spawn to fully colonize, if it does colonize there's no reason to not use it for bulk but dont' g2g it, the only benificial bacteria should be in your bulk sub

It doesn't matter what i think of you...all that matters is clean spawn

So mycelium and bacteria have a much more symbiotic relationship.  There should be a grading of contaminants.
