Look I inoculated the jars, they got full of mycelium, I lit th em sit for a few days and kept them in a humid ass environment the whole time. Here's a picture of my fruiting chamber it's air tight and I mist and fan 2 to 3 times a day. Getting about 12 hours of light a day and I only touched them maybe 3 times in 3 weeks. What do you all mean by "put them in a fruiting chamber" that really doesn't help me much guys.

That aquarium is suffocating them. They need to breath. You want to build a SGFC.

Maybe a dunk would help, its worth a try maybe. But I would get started on a new batch just cause a new batch is always a good thing.

Put cakes in a bucket or pot. Fill with water. Weight the cakes down with a plate or something so they are submerged, leave for 24 hours.

I suggest you watch mushroomvideos.com it'll help you out a lot.
Dunk and roll: Get a large pot, bucket, or bowl that will be able to fit all your cakes and be able to have them submerged. Rinse off the cakes in normal tap water, and take off your old dry vermiculite layer. Fill your container with enough tap water to fully submerge your cakes, then place cakes in your container and use something to weigh them down so they're fully submerged.
Allow your submerged cakes to sit in a room temperature environment for 24 hours, after 24 hours take your cakes out of the container, give them a good rinse then roll them in vermiculite.
The reason to do this is the vermiculite that's on the cakes creates a micro-environment that's perfect for cakes, it also helps keep the cake moist and not dry out.
Edit: Oh wow, my idiotic brain didn't notice there was a second page

Should I moisten the vermiculite before rolling? I'm also surprised this doesn't bruised the fuck outta the cakes. I started over. Got a new syringe and knocked up 8 jars today. Gonna be making my SGFC today

Nope, just vermiculite that's straight out of the bag. The cake will be wet enough that the verm sticks right to it. Kind of like rolling a piece of chicken in flour :P.
It's not a rough process really, you just want something that weighs enough to hold them underwater, not something heavy enough to make them be crushed into the bottom . I use a heavy deep dished pie plate I have, then just pour some water on top until it sinks the cakes down to the point they're fully submerged.
Good luck dude, keep us updated!

You don't need to crush them to the bottom. Floating cakes will absorbed just as much water.

yup , well roll in dry verm , but over the next couple days it will be vet verm from being misted. your terrarium is fine, but you should thoroughly provide FAE by fanning with the lid 5-6 times a day after mistings
and once you see a jar that looks 100% white , let that go for a little bit , (4-7 days) , and hope to see in vitro pins
that's a cake thatllltake very well to a terrarium lik eyours, and ofc a sgfc or mono tub style FC

Sorry I think yall misunderstood me, it was the rolling in vermiculite I was worried about bruising my cakes since the general rule is to handle them as little as possible.

you dont need to literally "roll" them.
you can "gently" place them in a bowl and "softly" coat them with verm till they are covered on all sides.
while whispering to them gently that you aren't going to do anything to them that they don't want to have done to them.

Funny story for you guys/girls. When I was boiling my jars to sterilize them, 8 in a big pot 4 in a little one, I walked away and got detracted by that boxy devil called the television. I came back to find all the water evaporated with the paper towels I put on the bottom completely blank (probably burnt up] and the bottom of the 4 jars all black and burnt. When I dumped one out to see if I could salvage it, it was cooked. Thank god the other 8 didn't get as far and were ok to use. So ya that's why I'm doin 8 instead of a dozen

I said " not something heavy enough to make them be crushed into the bottom", I just said to have them submerged. If that's incorrect information my bad, I was just using what RR said in his videos.
When he said he didn't understand how they wouldn't get bruised, I assumed he thought I meant that by "submerged" I meant pressed up against the bottom of his container.
So next time I dunk I can just have them floating on the surface of the water?

Even I can say that that's not true. They do need to be fully submerged. I let my cakes float thinking they would eventually sink. They didn't and only the part underwater absorbed water
