Throwing away contaminated jar in yard
    #20626340 - 09/27/14 03:02 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

What happens if I do this?

I had two grain jars that were clearly contaminated with cobweb. Thinking of tossing it in the yard to see what happens.

If you do, make sure you do not enter your grow area until you have taken a shower and put on clean clothes.

There are contaminants all around us, though.

I was just wondering if by chance, I could have magic mushrooms growing in my yard lulz.

Just two weeks ago, somebody posted a picture of a mushroom that pinned from the side crack of his car door panel wtf? He didn't even know it, until it had grown to a good size. It looked healthy too lulz.

I did something like that once. A few mushrooms did grow.
Not many though. So anything is possible. Contaminants
actually tend to grow better in sterile environments. In the
outdoors they have lots of competition.

This is why you won't see cobweb for example everywhere outside.

So yeah, just do it.

peroxide can treat cobweb, at least to salvage bulk grows

give them a nice out door home , it could happen .
i leave my contam'd jars outside , say a prayer for em'

nothing tho, lol

would the cubes being so domesticated make them less able to handle outdoors?

I threw some out that were not showing signs of mycelium and contaminated. This is what I found this morning. Anybody think I'll get a decent flush from this crap?

there so far from being domesticated in the sense we understand pets to be. in this way they're extremely close to being wild but they've had some of there heterozygoticity limited. all that means is some of the genes that would lead to poor results have been scraped off, but they can still have poor results just less often. they'll do fine in the wild if not better if prepared properly for an outdoor grow.
