Don't post much here these days but I thought this would be appreciated. I posted it on FB for some friends, but my outdoor lovers here at the Shroomery should see it as well. People need to get away from the TV more often and go on a hike. You don't have to go far, just go! list=UUaMd7exq-sew-L3gxEDHdvw

Be careful on that trail. Those loose rocks can be deceiving and a little tiny slip could throw you right off. That coral head is pretty awesome! I found one similar to that one undamaged in a tailing pile at and old gold mine in the Anza Borrego desert. Are you going to the gem shows this year? I'll be in Quartzsite again and then again in Tucson. We did amazing on blue obsidian and fire obsidian this summer. Got some new machines and polishing a shit ton.

I have been meaning to start using my gopro more often, it has been a while since I have utilized it. I am planning on making a cool mtn biking one with my pup that runs with me.

Hey Pass, yeah, I'll hit up Quartzsite again this year. I'll be sure to see you there again.
If a guy was into collecting fossils I'm sure he could find a really nice specimen on that mountain if he searched for it. I saw some great spots in the bottom of a chute when I was coming off the mountain where the rock had weathered smooth and left cool looking fossil patterns exposed and nearly polished.

Yeah I'll bet you could cut some nice spheres out of that mountain. See ya in Quartzsite. I should be in the same spot unless there's a better spot open when I get there. All of my regulars know where to find me though. A lot of new product this year and I'm strictly doing obsidian. We mined for and hit the electric blue HARD, then moved on to the aurora borealis and hit it HARD, then we moved on to one of the fire pits and hit it HARDER! In 3 weeks alone we pulled out after high grading and polishing from the fire over 5 million, no joke. That's the extreme low end of the value discounting the museum quality pieces that are in there. I have a lot to do.
