Thanks djmanko,  I'll look for something similar that can use batteries. I didn't realize it could be led lights,  I see so many setups with a desk lamp leaning over the fruiting chamber I guess I assumed all the bulbs in that range needed a regular fixture. Thanks!

Technology has come a long way. Remember 6500k preferably blue is perfect growing lighting conditions.

Yeah because the guy who left the review was expecting blue which is shown in the picture, not white.

And they are 6500. It says right on the strand on the backside. It could be possible he was shipped the wrong one which is plausible

I'd show you but the backside is sticky and I have them stuck and if I take them off they would be a bitch to stick back up.

I like the idea of em. Would simplify things.

They work flawlessly. The best part is they are waterproof which means they can be laid upon the inside of the lid if you're monotubbing. I only use LED's since they give off little to no heat which wont change the ambient temperature.

lol you're right abou tthe name calling,
was caught off guard by someone sayin dont grow if u gotta hide it

i live w/ animals, i often have children at my house, as well as various people.

none of whom need to know anything; and even if i tell them i.e. close friends i share with , i keep it out of sight so they arent tempted to investigate.
common sense, not recklessness

i'm not.

im giving reasons why people hide their grow
whats this going on about risk? growing shrooms is pretty safe, if you keep clean and have half a brain ...

look, they're illegal. we HAVE to hide them, or they'll be confiscated. so i dont get your point

if say you and I buy a house together, and I grow mushrooms that are illegal and you dont know about it
the cops or feds or whatever can seize the house because it was used to grow an illegal substance.

you'd be pretty fuckin pissed at me for risking your house without your knowledge. everyone who lives in the house should know about the risk you're taking and agree that's a risk they're willing to take.

its been repeated over and over and over again here on a weekly basis

luckily I dont live in the US so I dont risk that much, but of course my gf who I live with both approve and love that I do cultivate shrooms for us to trip on. worst case scenario for me is a fine, maybe 14-30 days in prisons tops if I'm unlucky and or have a few too many grows going at once.

okay, now i see what you are saying

i still dont agree but that's okay.

if you grew shrooms in my house id be all for it,
but say i wasnt - unless im ur mother it's on you,
not me. ofc kids are dumb and will incriminate themselves,
but so be it. i think you may take for granted your
situation, maybe be understanding others dont have that luxury
i kinda have luxury like u , but not everyone

thx 4 good links in ur sig! ill be reading through those

it doesn't matter who it's on, we all lose the house.
so there you are one morning thrown out of your house completely unknowing of what has happened.

if you live with your kids that's even worse, I can surf on a couch or sleep outside but a kid wouldn't take that so well. they are resilient little fuckers but that still doesn't mean you should pull them through shit like that.
