I feel like 90% of noobs think they have cracker dry shrooms but they don't
desiccant keeps cracker dry shrooms dry but it can't dry a shroom to cracker dry just because of the way the affinity for water works. buy a fucking food dehydrator.

Just chuck them in front of a heater or a fan for another day or 12 hours then you should be good. Store in a jar and even throw in a little packet of moisture absorber or two and that should be good.

Possibly try something like putting it in front of a fan with it in a tray with uncooked white rice, hopefully it will absorb the water/moisture content as it does with wet electronics, which likely it will.

plastics that electronics are made from have 0 affinity for water so they'll completely dry. The desiccant has a very high affinity for water which makes it work well to dry things. However mushrooms also have an affinity for water like mostly everything that's not glass metal or plastic so the desiccant will not make them completely dry but it will keep ones that are completely dry from acting like their own desiccant pulling water from the atmosphere. but if you put cracker dry shrooms in a air tight jar you don't need the desiccant at all anyway. Mushrooms don't like to be cracker dry just like desiccant doesn't like to be completely dry. they'll always be trying to take up moisture if available. so if you use a shitty jar like a tupperware then putting desiccant in there with your cracker dry shrooms is a good idea since it will absorb the moisture first.

I've never heard or personally seen a fan be able to get fruits cracker dry. some people have fan dried for a few days and then put in a desiccant chamber to try to pull out the last little bit but even that's a pretty bunk way to dry shrooms IMO
