Me and a few buddies are goin out mushroom hunting soon. Its november 1st. Does anyone know if they're still alive in this area or not? i live in WA, we were thinkin about heading into the woods and searchin for some cyans. any tips/info would be nice
You really will not find any cyans where you are looking. They are common in man made environments and very rare in the woods ever. Usuall you might find 5 or 10 specimens in a wooded area but their range is from San Francisco to the south of Seattle and British colombia in the north and fromthe Cascades to the Olympics. Sorry. They love the gardens and parks and new office buildings in mulch but not that far east of Seattle.
