Unknown Contam. Trich?

First ever monotub, so no clue what's going on or normal. Had 4" of perfectly fine 100% colonized Rye / CVG. Put a 1/2" casing layer of properly pasteurized CVG on top, and following formed overnight:

I thought it was cobweb, sprayed down twice with 3% H2O2, and about 12 hours later it looked like this:

I then decided to scoop it out (went about 2" in all directions including down) while wet with H2O2 in case it was Trich before it turned green.
Any ideas what it is? I generally have really sterile procedures, no problems with colonizing the monotub, however around same time I did have my first petri dish come down with Trich which is why I'm paranoid about it.

Don't know but I think there's a good chance it's Trich.
You really shouldn't have scooped it out. If you're convinced a patch may be mold you can suppress it better by pouring salt over it. Trying to cut it out will actually help it spread.

My understanding is that if it isn't green then it hasn't sporulated, and if sprayed down with liquid it would make the spores sticky and not spreadable.
Well already done, actually the quarantine bowl has apparently fully colonized... not sure what it was, but it seems to at least be surrounded by healthy mycelium atm, and no further spread in the main monotub.

There are molds, including trichoderma, that eat cube mycelium.

Just the opposite they're already sticky. Freshly produced Trichoderma spores don't become airborne under normal circumstances. They stick to water droplets and dust though so if you spray them with something they can become airborne that way.
Of course most mold spores can be become airborne easily from even a slight breeze, but Trichoderma spores can only do that if the sticky layer over them and all the water has they contain has comepletely dried out.
