Phytochemical infused substrates? Possible?

Hello! I'm really interested in shroom alkaloid introduction & potentiation. Starting, statistics exist that adding 100mg of tryptamine to your standard 1/2 pint cake before inoculation could triple mushroom alkaloid content. If this is true, I wonder what effect adding part acacia/mhrb extract to a substrate would produce? Precursor alkaloids already exist in acacia that could easily be bio-synthetically altered to generate psilocybin, and other 4' hydroxylased acacia alkaloids. 4-HO-MET would be a prime candidate in acacia through direct 4-hydroxification of present NMT. I feel this idea could possibly be translated to open up a large spectrum of phytochemical infused substrates. Think of shredded cacti-phenylalanines + non-selective N-Methyl Transferase enzyme products, along with psilocybin. Sounds like a good time. More useful enzymes surely exist in other fungi species. I haven't been able to find much other information than the three articles listed here, but I still think this deserves some merit. Thoughts? I'm just thinking out loud

people hypothesized about tryptamine in substrates back in the 70's people have been trying that shit ever since. Mushroom digestion doesn't work like that. They break down substrates with enzymes extracellular then uptake the nutrients. The % of active alkaloids is gene dependent not substrate dependent. The same good isolate culture will produce potent shrooms on any substrate. A weak isolate will make shitty shrooms on any substrate.
there's piles of shit all over dmt nexus bluelight erowid and even here. Know how to weed through it is step one. Follow time tested proven replicable ideas until you get a foothold to make your own advancements.

Thanks for the info, I didn't spend too much time researching this. I just had some brainstorming time today and had to get the idea out before I lost it. The natural acacia substrate still interests me though, being natural and all. I understand the gene dependance, as the potency of shrooms my cat and his friends have taken have varied pretty wildy. One batch we tripped our faces off, the one prior was just alright. 3g's each time. Would the alkaloids in acacia be able to metabolize? Would anything present as toxic to myc that would significantly inhibit growth? I suppose there's only one way to find out.. unless you've heard of anything like this

lol I'll just eat more cubes for the time being. I have some PE on agar right now and am going to make 4 plates of purple mystic tomorrow. I look forward to isolating and figuring out which cube is the most potent, and then I have big plans for a bed of allenii somewhere in the woods by the river next year

Nice, will you just be trying shrooms 1 at a time and feel for any effects? Extraction & comparison to other shrooms contents? That could take a while :P I'm picking up a pan cyans print today. Haveta drive 200 miles round trip for it though.. but it's worth it.
