Monster Albino A+ from my outdoor patch

I buried a crate and lined it with cardboard. i fill it with spawn and substrate topped with a small layer of wood chips to protect from the sun drying it out. We just had a little cold snap and its been rainy but for the most part it fruits at a steady pace. I did not expect this guy though. Its a monster. I normally dont see fruits like this till the substrate is close to being spent. But this is a pretty new patch and it was attached to the cardboard. If im not too lazy ill post future photos.

I've never seen a fruit dry to 20% of it's wet weight but maybe it was already a bit dry before weighing.

Missed clone opportunity I guess. Even meaty shit I've gotten from outdoors only ever get around 13%.
I always play a little guessing game weighing before with monsters and trying to nail the final weight.

it was very meaty. its going to be made into some kind of an edible treat. which is my least favorite thing to do cause i think mushroom are beautiful creations. But i think its better off that way.
10 to 1 water weight has never been accurate at least for me. But i have been dehydrating fruits and veggies for a long time so i have a few tricks that keeps them heavy. Although i did non of those here. i just put in the dehydrator and walked away. when it started to break by the touch i stopped it.

Tricks to keep stuff heavy? I don't get it if its only moisture that you're pulling out.

i use a dehydrator and when they get limp and soggy i take them out and let them cool then put them back in the dehydrator. I repeat this process and the end result id a cured mushroom the is more like a sponge like feeling and it wont loose weight either. now if i put that sponge back in the dehydrator i get more of a solid mass that feels like a rock versus a flat shriveled mushroom. Its a technique that took a long time to develop and i learned it hands on buy a local that makes fresh fruit roll ups and all sorts of delicious fruit snacks. when i get that sponge like feeling its dry i can leave it out on my table put it in a jar or leave it outside it stays the same weight. it will lose a little if i put it back in the dehydrator but hardly any. It stays round and like when i picked it but solid not sponge like. I think mushrooms are amazing so i try to keep them in tact %100 i dont even like to bruise them. I am terrible typing. but i amaze people with this technique of mine. i will post it extreme detail with photos when i have something to dry. ill even show the moisture levels with a meter.

its pretty much a repeating process of in and out of the dehydrator.
