Casing container

I bought these.... they were on sale for nothing. I have never cased and I was wondering if these containers are deep enough. The one on the right seems deep enough to me, but the one on the left I question. Would 1 half pint jar be suitable to case in each of these containers? If either of these containers will work, then I go pick up a bucnch more while they are on sale.
Thanks~

They work but you have to cover up the sides which may be a hassle.

If you have those in a terrarium they should be fine, but if you intended to simply cover them up to keep in humidity you want more space for air (especially the one on the left.)
Honestly, I stopped covering the sides of my clear containers because I don't care if the shrooms fruit from the sides in addition to the top. I've still had good flushes....

Why do people worry about fruits forming on the sides? One would think the more the merrier. What does it affect?

If mushrooms grow on the sides of your containers they may rot and contaminate the entire casing.

Especially in big casings. You can't dig up your casings to retrieve every little thing that grows at the sides.

Took me 14 seconds to put tape around mine...I think it will hold up to the humidity, we'll see.
