Couple G2G questions,

So i was wondering ... Can you g2g different grains, like for instance take a colonized rye jar and put it to wbs and vice versa, or will you confuse and stall the myc?
And also i had like 7 jars of a2g . The fastest one i spawned to a 16 qt mono, and i have 2 more about to finish. they are like 98%. Either way the other question is are the fastest colonizers gonna reflect that trait after i g2g ? like is there even a point in waiting to g2g slow jars? Ideally youd want to expand the fastest culture right?

You can expand to any grain. Sometimes I use millet for my masters for the high number of nock points and G2G that to oats or rye.
Ideally you would only G2G the faster healthier jars.

Thats a good idea. I think ill try this next time.
Fucking cobweb is my bane, that mono i spawned on 9/19 is already showing surface cobweb.
This is treatable with peroxide though right?

Are you sure its cobweb and not just weak or tomentose myc? Cobweb before the first flush is very rare. 95% of noobs who think they have cobweb actually just have tomentose growth and fuck their grow up by spraying peroxide when they should just be leaving it alone. Pics?

Come to think of it, only the second pic looks like cobweb. Is it pasty, or tomentose myc?

Well that pic is not the best but, I am going to say no. Its too white for starters, cobweb and pin molds are a grey color. If it is you will know by dinner cause it will have taken over most of your sub by that point. By tomorrow it will have completly taken over the whole thing.
Keep an eye on it but if hasn't grown to at least the size of a baseball in the next four hours I would say its not what you think it is.
