I had my monotub closed the whole colonization process and when i started fruiting I just pulled off the ducktape. I had a fan blowing against the wall in the direction of the monotub.
Yesterday I noticed the fruits looked skinny so I looked up fanning/misting in monotub. the community basically said its a preference so I opened up the tub and started fanning yesterday. The smell is better but today I noticed this:

Its kinda hard to see but it looks like i spilled grape kool-aid in the tub. Is this something to worry about. Not sure when it came or even if its related to me opening up the tub but just curious.

Weird...those are some small mushrooms for any p.cube....
But not to threat, the purple is just spores that have fallen from the cap that is open, op.
Its worth a mention that the un-colonized substrate could be bacteria which is known to produce shriveled/deformed mushrooms or super small ones due to the mycellium competing/fighting for nutrients.

Your mushrooms are being suffocated it looks like. They need more fresh air. Thats what is most likely making those extremely tiny caps open.

Any suggestions on how to do that? Only thing i can think of is fanning as much as i can. I followed the monotub teks to a T, so I cant figure out what else to do.

No no no no no
Dial in your monotub dude.
Those bottom holes look way too loose and you should never point a fan right at it.

exactly^^^^^ it looks like you used easy felt for the filter? You should double those up and glue them on the outside of the tub so they don't get too wet... And follow the dial in like a boss tek for the top holes and you'll be fine... Keep them taped while colonising, then when fully colonised+1day take off the tape and apply loose polyfil to the top holes. Have a fan on low(I use med in a bigger room) in the room not directed at the tub.

well in that case they are getting WAY to much fresh air and no humidity lol. tear open a pillow and stuff those holes with poly fill. If i were you i would harvest that flush now, and try for another flush. keep your sub nice and moist until they rehydrate.
