Over two weeks since inoc, large group showing no growth... toss em?

I've got some pretty nice myc colonization going in my 20 jars. One or two are quickly approaching the halfway mark (Z-Strain variety seems to be coming along the quickest), but most are just showing a few patches here and there.
However, a little less than half (~9 jars) show nothing at all. One of them is nearly three weeks in and no growth, I'm a few days away from tossing that one and adding it back in to my next round of jars, but most that show now growth are at the 14 day mark. How much longer should I wait on these?
I searched and found many different answers from different posters, all saying 2-3 weeks is more than adequate to allow spores to take and grow if they ever were going to, some even saying a whole month before tossing.
I got some new syringes a few days ago and I'm anxious to get some of their solutions into some jars, but would rather not buy a whole other case of jars (I know, they're only 8 bucks per 12, don't judge me)
Also... an experiment I want to try. Can I re-inoculate a few of the jars showing no growth without re-doing the substrate/sterilization process? Obviously, theres a very high risk for (cross?) contamination I think, but could it be done with any success rate at all?

After 2 weeks with no signs of growth something is wrong ( non viable spores or contam etc. ) but especially at 3 weeks. You should see growth within a week normally but sometimes it could take up to two weeks but any longer than that isn't normal. No don't shoot up the sub with more spores because ..... 1. It could be a waste of spores if it has bacteria 2. Moisture content can get thrown off and possibly over saturate the sub
Just toss anything that has been sitting for more than 3 weeks and restart them jars it's the easiest and safest way to do things. Also if you used a sponsor for spores write a " carefully " worded email saying after viewing the spores they turned out to be non viable and you might get a replacement or discount do not say you are cultivating.

Well i don't think you guys are doing the same acid we did in the 70's. I only did it once. IT was called windowpaine. I was on the ride of my life for 16 hours seeing colors and everything else. I would never do it again. It scared the shit out of me. However today i see guys talking about doing 2 hoffmans. You would never do 2 hits of the acid in the 70's you would flip seriously out. Probably fry yourself for life. LSD25

Wow dude, I scored a few cases of jars at the dollar store last month for $5 each! The more I look around at thrift stores the more things I find for cultivation too. I am always finding jars at thrift stores.

I can get a case of quart jars for about 15 bucks. Haven't shopped around but since I can order them directly from a large distributor and only have to pay my store's markup on top of that it seems like an alright deal for having them anonymously shipped to me with the store's delivery. I'm doing this next time I place an order for the store.

Living in rural areas I assume always helps. My super market is wayyy out in the boonies, has an entire isle dedicated to canning supplies, and a wide array of PCs, foodsavers and such, it's a cultivators dream. The only thing they don't have is those smaller 4 oz jars. I want some of those to speed up my colonization times.
Managed to work up the motivation to drive an hour round trip out there today and picked up the last three cases they had.
Filled up a whole case worth, PCed them and they are cooling as I'm typing this.

Canning doesnt exist where I live. Never met anyone who has done it or has had any interest in it. Finding a pressure cooker is immensely hard as well you should consider yourself lucky its only an hour drive!
