The Big 30

So I'm 30 now, can't say anymore that I'm 20 something, can't say I'm late 20's, can't say "I'm only a few years older than you" to a 21 yr old girl
Stupid age, gets in the way sometimes.
I never give it much thought, but damn when you reach 20, then 30; you certainly can't help thinking about this milestone. I mean jeesus, people have families, homes, careers and shit now..
Ah well, I'm getting a fake ID that says I'm 25 like a friend of mine has, although his ID says he's 22.

Man, I'm 22 and I'm already dreading the thirties.... uhhgggnnnn... Time is so fast now. TV has stopped targeting me as a consumer and I feel left out. Nobody cares about the twenty-somethings. Especially not me, probably 'cause i have no money so I can't buy anything. Hmmmm.. muunnneeeeeeeee.......

Hah, my boyfriend is having his second 19th birthday in a couple months because he refuses to be 20. He wants to be able to say he's still a teenager while still being able to legally obtain alcohol and cigarettes.
I on the other hand look forward to every age I'll ever be. I really think I'll love being old. I'll have a little garden and knit sweaters for everyone...and I'll sit my grandkids on my knee and tell them stories about my youthful debauchery while still partaking in some of it on occassion.

Our youth is gone.
Nothin' left but weekend indulenge to try and recapture a few moments of our past.
Fcuk that!
I get what you mean about the whole family/good job/mortgage trip, shit, i've still yet to start!
Dont let it get you down it comes to everyone.*
*Though i was convinced that myself and God had a little understandin' on the matter.

I turned 30 in late July. Ain't no big whoop! Im lucky in that people say Im blessed with youth. Most people think im closer to 23 or 24 years old, I do look younger than I'am. Them Viking Genes make you look older, YA?

Maybe when I grow a long beard, wear a viking helmet and carry a big axe I'll look old!

Happy Birthday you old bastard!! I still can't believe your birthday is on Halloween, that's weird. Do they trick or treat in Iceland??
Hope you had a good night, what did you do? We went to a hall party which was pretty fun. I don't know how, but I got talked into dressing up as a slutty chick. Maybe I'll post some pics later.

Young whippersnapper!
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers
