Hey all this is the first time for my friend attempting mycology about four years ago haha he's been creeping on this forum and tons of others but he really likes the shroomery and all it has to offer so he (finally) joined and hopefully when he gets all the things he wants for the next go around he can have more success. he got his syringes from somewhere, he really likes that company and he feels good contributing to all they do. they are a really nice place to do business with although others will disagree, and they have some awesome prices for 20cc syringes opposed to the normal 10cc ones and some other "strains" sponsors here dont generally have. he got one golden teacher and one creeper from them and used the brf tek from RR so i thank you too RR for your awesome info and easy to follow videos it made it alot less intimidating. anyway he started on mar 28th with only the Golden Teachers and on may 5th all but 2 of my ten 1/2 pt jars were taken over by trych and some lipstick molds. not a huge deal since it was his first time and the environment he had to inoculate in was less than desirable. on top of that he had to inoculate at his girlfriends house and then fruit at his because he didnt want his roomie to find out, turns out he wouldn't have cared at all haha but anyway enough with the excuses... they were in the chamber filled with 4" of perlite misted occasionally for 38 days with temps varying from 76.8-85.5 (he had a digital thermometer/hygrometer that recorded the highs and lows) on may 11th the first pins started and about 8 days the first flush was ready to go.he have some pics and meant to keep my journal going but he got too to keep it up. Here us just a few pics of the first go around;

 Anyway he had tried the creeper about a year later and got no luck whatsoever but the other half of the GTs worked just fine so idk what he did wrong with the creepers, on the second attempt a year later he tried doing a bulk casing in shoebox size plastic trays and it didnt really turn out as great as he had planned but considering it was in the dead of winter in a badly insulated house and the power went out a couple times killing my heater on top of having to move my setup to go home for winter break it didnt work half bad haha. so anyway hes not going to make that same mistake again, no starting of the hobby till he can see it through without having to pack up and move it around. since then he has been moving alot so haven't had any chance of starting anything but he's been doing a TON of research on the best methods. he's also gathering supplies to work with agar and do some G2G bulk tray uni-tub or greenhouse kinda thing with the good ol' Golden teachers he's acquiring from "R". since he lives in one of the 3 states out of 50 that you cant get any key ingredients sent to he finally found his site through the good ol' shroomery search bar and hopefully all goes well. he cant wait to get going again, teach some friends, and have a good time over the microscope again. anyway sorry for the mind-numbing intro just wanted to say hi and thank you shroomery for being there for us all. -Ouroboros

Hey welcome buddy
Remove the vendors' name from your post. They sell for microscopy use only
Nice cakes! IME it's unusual to have all the fruits on top like that. Cool.
Keep us updated with a grow log!
