Yeah, you can transfer without isolation but if there is a mix of genetics on the plate you're transferring from then you need to make sure you grab each sector.

Isolation just means one set of genetics on it's own. If you don't want it isolated, you can still transfer sector by sector and just drop them onto the same dish.
If you can get all the sectors in one cut then you can just transfer them all as is but if the contamination is over lapping the mycelium then you're going to have to cut carefully sector by sector. As long as you're already doing that you may as well isolate them on their own petri's but there is no reason you can't just put all the transfers onto the same dish.

and once thats done and clean tiger drop it! my next agar project is pasty plates left to pin, pin to a new plate and then tiger drop so i don't have to isolate anything(provided things go clean)
