Well I'll be taking a trip to Northern Europe soon (Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, etc) and would love to go camping/hiking.
Any suggestions? Know any magical spots? Could be awesome with some northern lights if I go that far north

Finland, Sweden and Norway are all gorgeous countries. Norway is my favourite because of its spectacular landscapes. The whole country is full of good hiking places, I personally loved Dovrefjell (with wild Musk Ox walking around), Jotunheimen National Park, the area around Sognefjord with the Jostedalsbreen glacier area, and Lofoten and Vesteralen islands. You have good chances of seeing northern lights there. Sweden is full of great hiking places too, but it's not as spectacular as Norway. Great wide forests all over the place. I loved Vänern and Vättern lakes, the Stockholm area, and the lakes of southern Sweden. Haven't been north of Stockolm yet, but I've been told it get even more remote and wild than southern Sweden. A good place to see northern lights in Sweden would be Abisko national park. In both Sweden and Norway they have an old law that allows everyone to camp everywhere, so they're perfect hiking countries.
Denmark and Netherlands are not nearly as great for hiking, though Denmark has some pretty cool islands. The Netherlands are no country for hiking or anything else that requires a bit of wilderness, but it's a very interesting place to visit for history and culture, and of course weed and legal psychedelic truffles if you want to include that in your trip.
I've never been to Finland so I can't say anything about it.
Are you planning to visit Germany as well?
