When you hydrate them they turn back into sawdust. Look up sawdust blocks and read all you can.

Another thing to note is the colonization time of 1 pint vs 1/2 pint are basically double. You can get wide mouth pints though.

make up you own ratios tell us what they are and be amazed later. Cubensis will colonize all of those things. even individually.

Interestingly, i had successes adding coir to wbr... It wont hurt is what im sayin... If for anything im under the impression myc loves that mix...

for cakes you can simply replace the verm with sawdust or better yet go 50/50 verm and sawdust so it's stil 2:1:1 but half the verm is sawdust.

Or you could just go to grains. I started with PF cakes now I am doing WBS. Just seems easier/cheaper to me.
