I am going to use Distilled Water just to be extra sure, but I'm wondering just out curiosity if Chloramines in tap-water are toxic to Cube spores. Has anyone tested this out? Also does anyone know if tap-water Chloramines are dangerous to any part of Cubensis? Such as misting fruits?

But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease. Every hidden cell is throbbing with music and life, every fiber thrilling like harp strings, while incense is ever flowing from the balsam bells and leaves. No wonder the hills and groves were God's first temples, and the more they are cut down and hewn into cathedrals and churches, the farther off and dimmer seems the Lord himself.” John Muir

The chloramines in tap water are residual so they aren't toxic to spores or cube mycelium at all, just to pathogens\bacteria\etc.

What doesn't make sense? Chloramine is a weak disinfectant it needs a long contact time to disinfect anything, but it's really persistent so it's only used to maintain a chlorine residual in the distribution system just to keep bacteria from growing in it on it's way to the customer. Smelly water pisses people off. The maximum concentration that's allowed varies from place to place but its about 3.0 mg/L
