Should I add poly to my SAB

I have been using it for a while without it. It's the ziplock one with the air tight seal and pvc screw ons. It makes a real nice "seal" when closed up. All I know is after I oust and work in it then take the lid off it takes my breath it is so strong. I'm worried it is weakening my prints while working in there. Typically I sanitize and oust it and wait an hour to work in it and it is still awful. Should I vent it?

Well I sterilize buddy. That isn't going to change. It is pretty much a glove box because i have rubber on my pvc end with a slit. When i put my gloves on and go it it is damn near sealed.

typically when i'm inoculating I put my jars in there along with my syringe and spray with oust. Then take the pvc screw on caps off, put on my sterile gloves still wet with alcohol, push through the rubber slits on the inside of the pvc caps and go to town. I print in there too. I'm worried about the oust affecting my prints even after I let it sit before adding my caps and foil. I feel like I should add some poly to kind of let some of the oust fumes out but no contams in.

If you insist on having a glove box type setup then yes I would filter it so you don't create positive and negative pressure while moving stuff about.
That being said you could open it up a tad and just use it as a sab

I hate GB's because I like to take my gloves in and out and put stuff in and out. GB's are a pain. I guess i'll put one 1.5 inch hole on the left top side and pack it nice and tight with some poly. before i print i'll oust it, then add my sterile foil and caps after letting it sit for maybe an hour.

Hey, I am always up for logical advice! All the teks I read involved putting material in and sanitizing. Everything seems to be out dated.. Sterilizing just makes me feel more comfortable. Especially when making my prints or doing G2G. So your suggesting I put everything in a dirty tub? I just don't see the point if you have to set your needle down in the tub.. etc.etc. ps. that is me in my avatar, what the fuck are you trying to say?!?!

the problem is your not sterilizing anything, your sanitizing heat sterilizes chemicals don't but in order to use heat you need a sab so you can flame outside the box
