I'm looking for the best way to harvest, and afterwords the best way to dry out the shrooms.
Any suggestions? It's my first time. Thanks guys!

Take the substrate out of the tub. Cut at base. If you lack a dehydrator then fan dry until crispy and move to desiccant chamber. Store in mason jar with a drying packet preferably but not necessary.

I prefer the twist and pull method. But the shrooms have to be nice and mature to pull off clean. If they are JUST breaking the veil they tend to be harder to pluck and can pull some mycelium out with the shrooms.
And yes a dehydrator is the best for drying. If you aint got one, use an oven, or a fan.
Heres my drying setup. Gets my shrooms cracker dry in less than a day:

twis and pull works ok on things like cakes, bulk subs tend to get tore up doing it though

I like to harvest from pftek brf cakes while wearing nitrile gloves scrubbed in isopropyl alcohol and then allowed to dry. This is done in the hopes of absolutely minimizing any contaminant contact with the mycellium and hopefully getting yet another flush out of it.

no point in that, it's gonna be covered in mold spores in no time as it 's done in open air
