So I looked in on the tub this morning and this little guy had popped up from a gap that has formed between the liner and substrate.

My first fruit ever-- I've named him King Baby Dick
you can even see it peaking out in one of the pictures I posted yesterday, which is kinda funny (to the right of the top-left pollyfill'd hole)

There are 2 others whose shadow I can see pressed up against the side in tight formation around him, forming in the new gap between the colonized sub and liner. I'm thrilled about this, candidly, but it also makes me wonder about the rest of the substrate... this pocket was by far the most moist in the entire tub (on the side with the least airflow, in a crack that would collect and retain high moisture levels.

So I've harvested a few fruits off this tub, including my first one i posted a couple weeks ago which grew to ~70g and was delicious :mushroom2:

4 weeks in (26 days) I still don't have any pins in the center, they're all coming from the edges which might be due to the water that has pooled. I've been misting regularly, but still no unanimous flush. Any recommendations?

These pics are from a few days ago... A few more have come up since then.

In the future you should case PE. It will really help your pin set.

I hear that.  I've got the second generation (G2G) of these guys colonizing bulk right now and I'm DEFINITELY casing them.

In the meantime,  what should I do for this tub, now?

I would just let it grow and get what you can. Your top poly looks a bit tight by the way.

I haven't documented it very well, but I've gotten about 80g dry off this tub so far (about 950g wet, is a 12:1 ratio more accurate or PE?)  and there's still some fruiting / drying, but it's probably pretty close to depleted. (flushes were nowhere near unanimous, so I've been harvesting individual fruits as they were ready-- it's not ideal,  i know.

Anyway, here is a tray of my pretties. even after turning one tray upside down to create more space, I had to cut some fruits in half to make them fit.

I've got 4x tissue clones of the first guy (King Baby Dick) on PDA -- They've colonized beautifully, I just need to decide what exactly to DO with them... stick some wedges into grain strait away, or move them to another round of agar to check them?

I haven't collected any spores from these... although it's harder to PE, I still meant to. bummer.
