Cauliflower type growth in grain jar?

One of my grain jars looks overly colonized. Now it has weird cauliflower type growth going on. Thinking it's contam.
Here are some pics...
You'll notice the "cauliflower" type growth is almost ivory in the third photo. Hard to see, unfortunately.
Let me know what you think.

Mycellium will form a thick wall around contamination if present in a culture....its actually a very good sign of a viable/healthy/worthy of cloning culture but a bad sign for the cake. If it fruits while containing contamination read up on tissue cloning.... Some mycellium can fight off high amounts of airborne mould spores while others cannot. (Depending on the quality of the culture)

It's OVERDUE by 5 weeks? Meaning it was fully colonized 5 weeks ago? I heard from someone here that the jar cracks by second week.
Actually, this jar is probably around 5 weeks old from knock up.
I just started seeing really hard, cauliflower looking shapes at the top of jar, so I got a bit freaked out, because this was the jar I witheld from spawning, so I can use for G2G. If this jar is contaminated, that would mean the rest that I spawned are as well, considering this one looked the best at the time.

Thanks, I thought it might be contam, so I was worried.
My spawn is starting to smell like watermelon rind, so everyone's been telling me it's probably contaminated... most likely trich. I guess I'm still holding my breath lulz.

if the jars crack from mycellium growth, they've been induced to extremely high levels of radiation.

How do you plan on breaking it up?
And yes, my monotubs smell like watermelon/honeydew at the moment. Visually, it still looks healthy though.

In other words I beleive cron is saying he just cased it in the jar with coir and fruited it that way rather than spawning it.

Is this just an experiment? Or is it typically what you do with PE6?

I'd be interested in seeing pics of that 5 month old jar fruiting
