keeping my libs dry

Just picked a batch of liberty caps and have been fan drying them on a piece of paper for 48 hours. They seem very dry now, the mushrooms have shrunk dramatically in size and weight. Anyways how do i store them? is it true that they can be stored in honey? Right now i put them in a glass jar with a teabag filled with rock-salt to observe humidity.
Any tips? No i don't have silica gel

Get them cracker dry and store at room temperature. I think most people store them sealed in a bag at room temperature.
Damp-rid is a widely available, single use replacement for silica gel.
I think honey can be used for extraction. And one would strain the solids out after extracting.

It depends on your relative humidity. If its 40% or below, you can get them cracker dry... if its higher, then no amount of fanning will get them dry enough

If you're asking if the oven will kill the psilocybin, it can at high temps. I believe somewhere near the 250F~ range will kill. But if you keep the oven on low with the door cracked, that will probably work. Also the longer your shrooms are moist out in the open air, the more psilocybin will be deteriorated. So dry them as fast as possible. Another psilo-killer is light. So when you do get them dry; Keep them airtight sealed. Keep them in the dark. Make sure they're CRACKER dry before sealing. As in they will literally crack in half if you bend them. Good luck!

I would say between 140-180f? Not completely sure tho.. Just put your oven on the lowest setting and put your shrooms on a pizza tray (or anything with holes in it) and keep the door cracked like 1/2 way open.

dehydrators go to 165F normally, I use close to 200F in an oven, aim a fan towards the cracked open oven door to make air circulate and allow moisture to leave thru a small crack, halfway open is crazy!
