It smelled like cubes of course but it had a distinct lightly sharper smell to it. Not like JA, Cambodes, Lips Yai or Gymno's. Lol, it was subtle but strong at the same time.

Cool. I understand they are on the difficult side to grow.

Once you get the basics figured out all cube varieties are super easy to grow.

Yes, but I have been told PE and PE albino are more fussy? You find this true at all or is it they maybe need slightly different ways of caring for them? I know they take a bit longer than other cubes to colonize and to pin, again from what I have heard. Far as that I don't know what these things are that people have said makes them more difficult. I spawned them to bulk 2 days ago and the myc is poking through the top already so I patched with verm and misted it a little, the poo was a little dry but I was very careful not to overspray. Cant wait till I started seeing those little dicks, lol. I hear they are potent!

In my experience they are no harder. They just take longer to pin and benefit more from a casing layer. They are also poor spore producers so printing can be a problem. Other than that they are just like every other cube.

Except they're more potent and more visual...
I'm getting a bunch of PE jars ready for bulk innoc and when I shake them up they smell just like...mycelium.

well, where i live, there are lots of sulfur-caps and slimy-caps, both of which have bounced around in stropharia and, i believe hypholoma. they both tend to look like the ones in the tray there, but more sespitose, gregarious.

Any of them. Some people like to try them all I guess, but if you crave novelty try the albinos, red, or dwarf strains, if you crave potency try the ones people praise for potency. I thought KSSS were a kick:

Strong little fuckers too.

I was looking for both.. I saw a deal on a sponsor's thread and took advantage. So I got the 5 I asked about. Plus a couple of b+ prints I made. I'll never have more than 1 going at a time.. Just wanted variety to change it up from time to time.
