    #2051803 - 10/28/03 08:42 PM (20 years, 5 months ago)

This thread will be dedicated to pictures of primates. I was inspired by our Shroomery's very own BlueMonkee. I encourage everyone to participate.

i don't like looking at monkeys because they seem like very mentally downtrodden humans...it makes me sad.

I cant find the pictures i want to post.

There are two very famous movie clips i saw a few years back.

The first is a monkey drinkin' its own pish and the second, Christ but i laughed, was a monkey in a tree that sratches its arse, smells its finger and then falls backwards from the tree.

But as i say i cant find them.

Chimps, orangutangs, gorillas - not actually monkeys, just to be technical.

from the Weekly World News

JUST ONE MONTH after their gay marriage rocked the world, ecstatic newlyweds Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein have adopted a shaved-ape baby to make their family complete.

And while the news is sure to set terrorists' hearts aflutter, the animal-rights group that delivered the chimp to a go-between who promised that the 9-month-old was going to a "good home" say they were lied to -- and they want the little critter back.

But it seems unlikely that will happen anytime soon, because nobody -- not even the CIA with its Al Qaeda moles -- has any idea where Osama, Saddam and Robert, their new "son," might be.

Given the best intelligence available, the trio are on the move "somewhere in the Middle East."

CIA sources say their most recent photo -- a bizarre "family portrait" that's dominated by the grinning chimp -- was probably snapped in Syria on October 6, although the doting couple and their "boy" almost certainly have left the country since then.

"Security around Osama and Saddam has never been so tight," says a CIA source in Paris, where the shaved chimp was handed over to an alleged Saudi sheik who claimed to be representing a couple who couldn't have children of their own.

"Protecting their marriage and holding on to this baby is something they're taking very, very seriously indeed. About all we can do for the moment is hope that the chimp will distract them or at least slow them down a little.

"All we need is for these guys to make one little mistake, to miss one connection with the people who are helping them elude us, and I promise you -- they won't know what hit them.

"But so far, that's not happening; they aren't making mistakes. We're no closer to knocking them off than we were a year ago."

It's unclear whether Osama and Saddam know the baby is a shaved ape or if they've been led to believe it's human.
