Help out a guy and his plants.
    #2049757 - 10/28/03 04:22 AM (20 years, 5 months ago)

Hope you guys can help me.

It frosted for the first time last night so I moved my plants inside. When I went down this morning my three mandrake plants had all their leaves pressed flat together sticking up in the air.

They move around all the time but never this much. Could it be the change in temperature or does it mean they will die indoors? This is really wierd.

Don't let them frost. At least make small greenhouses around them from clear trash bags or gallon mulk containers cut off at one end and mulch down the base. Uncover them during the warmest part of the day or at least for a few minutes a day.

The frost isn't the problem mate. I want to know why they are sticking up like that. It is even worse today.

Do whut eve69 said, I doubt they are in shock frum the cold, but that could be why they are standing up. They may need a bit of warmth to fix the problem. This is just a guess on my part. I am by no means a botanist of any kind. And you should give it a gradual change, try moving them outside during the day and see how they react.

Peace
