MAGIC - Liberty Cap photographer's Field Guide 1

This is a first English translation draft of a guidebook that was published a while ago in Finnish. Many thanks to Knarkkorven for providing the photos.
http://www.lycaeum.org/wiki/File:Magic_Nordic_Liberty_Cap_Photographer%27s_field_guide.pdf
Here is a photo of the printed Finnish version
I am looking for: - Localization feedback regarding issues that may vary country by country (most potential terrains, indicator plants, start/end of season etc) - People wishing to translate this guide to your local language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandish, Estonian etc) - People wishing to make printed editions for publication in your local country (English or other language)
Enjoy

Yes, I wrote and published (200 printed copies) the Finnish version and am now finishing up with the English version.
This is a non-profit project and the Finnish edition copies were given away free, in fact along with a P.cubensis spore print . Well some guides were sold through a reseller for a nominal charge of 1 euro.
I would love to see the english version in print as well but lack the financial resources to make it happen. That's why it would be great to find people in other countries who would take care of printing and distribution. It's not that expensive. The ones I printed cost less than 1 euro 50 cents each and all the pages were laminated high quality paper to make it durable enough for field trips.

Thanks for providing this really informative book! Got lots of insight that I'm sure will help me get on the right track on my future hunts. The tips on the habitats were especially helpful for myself.

I uploaded a new version of the guide to Lycaeum. The link is the same as before.
Mostly fixes to typos and small adjustments to the content. Also added one hilarious photo from Knarkkorven's vaults
Now I've done the proofreading as well as I could. I would appreciate if some native English speaker would proofread the text and let me know if there's something to fix.

"10 Identifying a Liberty Cap during different phases of Its lice cycle"
I do not have an interest in learning about lice, other than perhaps how to avoid them; regardless, that was certainly the most amusing of the spelling errors, thus far, causing me to almost accidentally spit out one of my pleasant morning sips of cardamom laced warm milk tea, as laughter suddenly overcame me, prompting me to rudely awaken a bit more before I was ready to do so, for it all. As a published photographer, writing my own articles to correspond with such, I was hopeful of viewing more lovely photographs and actual camera talk pertaining to being within the field, as opposed to weeding through what appears to be nothing more than advocacy propaganda for prohibited drugs, and how one may go about locating and identifying them. The title of the publication is misleading; therefore, I am left with a feeling of disappointment, to be quite honest. I may attempt to read more later, in order to learn if the following chapters hold my personal interest, while I do thank you very much for presenting it in rough draft for proofing purposes, as well as the entertainment, even though the latter was earlier within the morning than desired.

As a published photographer, writing your own articles to correspond with such, I would have hoped that you'd rather contribute to the project with a couple of pages of camera talk instead of all that boastful whining.

What a great little book! I could imagine something similar over here in the US would help everyone find their favorites. Still, I am a bit melacholic about the pamphlet as I was supposed to fly to Finland this summer to meet with a friend and possibly do some mushroom "photography." Sadly, for various reasons I had to cancel the trip. Glad to know that there are good mushrooms out there!
