Ways to fight cobweb in casings?

Checked on my casings today, 3 days ago mycelium was popping up in only 1 place, open it today and there are 3 wispy patches of cobweb! I immediatly cut those pieces away, and sprayed down with a strong concentration of H202. Any other ways to fight this bastard?

Sounds like youve done pretty much all you can for now. Time will tell.

peroxide will do the trick...see this post. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...;o=&fpart=1
keep an eye on it,spray with dilute peroxide once a day to inhibit any regrowth of the cobweb, try not to get peroxide on anything but the cobweb. i also used a small kiddie size paint brush to directly paint the cobweb areas with straight peroxide with good results.

Salt works good, but don?t apply too much cause it will pull out water from the casing. Salt don?t need to be applied heavily to achieve positive results.

Hanky:
Two days after putting in fruiting chamber- probably put in too soon, but there were a few scattered mycelium spots- I noticed a thin wispy spot about the size of a half dollar, I think it was cobweb. So, a short while ago I boiled a knife and spoon for around 15 minutes, then poured a bit of bleach over them and stuck them under some running water for a sec to rid bleach. I opened top of chamber and cut away spot and scopped it out as best I could. Then, I spayed a light mist of hydrogen peroxide, in and around area. Sound okay? Should I hit the area with a 50/50 hydrogen peroxide/water solution once daily as you mened? Keep doing that until casing around area is overtaken with mycelia? I figure that the shit will just come back, knowing my luck but I want to try.

yeah, just keep an eye on it.spray the effected area with 10/1 peroxide once a day for a day or two,if it doesn't come back stop spraying. the cobewb casing i had was completely riddled with cobweb in about 1 third of its total volume and i still got close to 15 grams dry off of two flushes and it was only a 2 half pint casing to begin with. inshort,i had no problems beating cobweb and belive that as contams go cobweb is by far the easiest to overcome.
