Paging the Experts for Advice

My kitten was told to place her fully colonized cakes directly on top of the geolite in her PMP, and now that the first flush has come the shrooms all seem sort of soggy. Should she elevate the next time, or is this okay? They are all healthy shrooms...just soggy in areas.
Also, some other cakes seem to have stalled in the PMP, while the ones next to them are taking off. Temp and humidity are perfect, and so is air-exchange. What could be making them stall? They get 12 hours of light a day. Its just weird that a few of them aren't fruiting, because the others are doing it like crazy. The ones that aren't fruiting are Golden Teachers and the ones that are fruiting are Equador. The cakes have been in there about a week.
Any suggestions?
truly, ShadeGirl

Hey,
This is my kitten's 4th grow, but the other three were just in a rubbermaid with perlite. This is the 1st grow with a Poor Man's Pod. I thought I read to put the cakes directly on the geolite in there, or something.
They were all dunked, and the EQ's were pinning in the jars beforehand. I looked in my kitten's terrarium and it looks like the golden teachers might be developing hypal knots, so maybe there's hope for them. I just thought it was strange for the EQ's to just burst out with shrooms like that after a week, when the GT's haven't even began pinning yet.
