G2G speed

I prepped some wbs and it came out overdone and cracked.. I thought fuk it, and used it anyway. For some reason the jars are growing crazy style and I wouldnt be surprised if they were ready in 3 days.
Any reasoning behind this?

Maybe the grains burst starch and stuff all over when they cracked?..

I don't have enough experience to say for certain, but I've noticed my jars go a bit faster at first when they've gone a little sticky from burst grain. edit: Actually if it's three days that sounds suspect to me, might also just be a mold.

Did you shake them up like a day ago? If they finished like that in three days and it's actually cube mycelium that'd be awesome. I can't tell if it's good myself, but I can say it doesn't look like how my WBS looks.

I broke upthe wbs after soaking too long, then added a fair amount of colonised grains, i mixed as good as I could then left them for 3 days whilst at a festival, when I came back they were all white but not knitted together.

Yeah, your jars looked fucked in that pic up there
No offense lol. If you mean "they're not recovering and recolonizing" when you say "they're not knitting" then that means they are more than likely contaminated my friend. Sorry to say. To be honest your choice of words makes deciphering what you say verrry confusing also

The bright white grains look like the myc grains you seeded with. The rest look covered in some grayish powder with no apparent growth from the seed myc.

I've had this happen in a couple Galindoi jars that were also split grains. Colonized with thin mycelium in a few days, it knit back together eventually but is not producing much sclerotia. I think it is some sort of contam.
Edit: here's a pic

OP, toss that shit. When you open em, they're gonna smell off and you'll see all the nasty spores look like smoke.

No offense lol.( I think its pretty bloody obvious what im saying.Everyone else gets it.) If you mean "they're not recovering and recolonizing" when you say "they're not knitting"( I mean they havent all grabbed some needles and pulled some wool through filter and made a jumper) then that means they are more than likely contaminated my friend. Sorry to say. To be honest your choice of words makes deciphering what you say verrry confusing also
I think you got there in the end, well done for deciphering that incredibly difficult piss poor collection of words. Yes the mycellium isnt knitting together and hasnt from the start. Im going to add to coir now after a dunk if it doesnt smell to bad and spawn 1 jar to see what happens.

Ok i popped the lid and it smells just fine. there was no puff of white smoke and I am now dunking for 10 minutes befor mixing with coir and verm. The myc is very similar to Panaelous Cyan
If I get a result out of this and this semi isolate(This is where a few sectors left after 5 6 transfers) continues on, colonising this quick there is going to be a shit load of mushies. Im looking to clone the big strong ones this time and get an absolute mono culture
Ive already had brilliant results so far so fingers crossed..
I will keep you posted, and translate wherever necessary for our slower members

great advice, a few more days should do it for this one. If I get grow from this I will do another G2G and go for another mono. Got some other isolates to test though.

First tub out of the 3 grew quick and healthily. Got back from the weekends party late and they sporalated everywhere.
2nd tub smells fine too but the third smells a bit sweet and yeasty. I think Im going to leave it a few more das then try to fruit both.
What do you think I should do?

smelling beer like + knotting before 100% suggests to me its not that healthy. maybe you wanna fruit it right now as bacteria hate fresh air and the knots seems to be aching to go?
that's what I'd do. and give it 5-10mins of direct sunlight every day. the sun is magic, and bacteria also hates magic! they're more sciencey

cobweb mold grows really quick and looks white. do you have a picture?
generally for me g2g takes 5-7 days for full colonization. then you can wait a few days after that for the jars to consolidate before you spawn. usually if its slower than that ill assume something is wrong. if its faster than that, ill assume something is wrong. if your using liquid inoculants than 3 days is normal for full colonization.
