Basically to make a straw TEK you take mycelium and mix it in with pasturised straw. then once the straw is colonised you birth somewere, say in a rubber maid tub spreading it over the bottom, then put some nice manure over top of it for even better results.?
also could i just put the straw brick into a rubbermaid tub and birth it? and shrooms will grow?
liek i dont know how the straw provides enough nutrients... do you add anything else other than straw???

Straw log tek is pasteurizing straw, mixing it with spawn, stuffing it in poly tubing so it takes the form of a log, then letting it sit at room temp for 2 weeks or so, then simply cutting off the plastic and draping a new piece over it...
no birthing chamber, no manure, and straw has plenty of nutrients
